Buchanans Country Broth
A winter warmer for those chilly days. Perfect to make in a large batch and freeze.
- Serves 6-8
- 2 hours
- 250g Buchanans Soup Mix
- 4 Carrots (diced)
- 1 small Turnip (diced)
- 2 Onions (diced)
- 1 stick of Celery (diced)
- 1 leek (sliced)
- 2.3 litres of chicken or vegetable stock
- Salt and Pepper to season
- Place all the ingredients into a large pot and cover with the stock.
- Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for approximately 2 hours, stirring often.
- Add salt and pepper to season.
